At LaptopGarage Technologies, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. This warranty policy ensures that you receive assistance in case of any defects in materials or workmanship.


1. Warranty Coverage

Our warranty applies to manufacturing defects and component failures under normal use.

✔️ What is Covered?

Brand New Products – Warranty is as specified at the time of purchase.
Refurbished Laptops:

  • Battery Warranty: 1-2 weeks.
  • Keyboard & Power Adapters: 2 weeks.
    Accessories & Components – Coverage varies by product.

❌ What is NOT Covered?

⛔ Normal wear and tear.
⛔ Physical damage, accidental drops, liquid damage, or power surges.
⛔ Software issues, malware, viruses, or unauthorized modifications.
⛔ Products repaired or modified by unauthorized technicians.
⛔ Consumables such as laptop batteries, unless specifically covered.

📌 Important:

  • The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • If a product is replaced under warranty, the new product will inherit the remaining warranty period—a new warranty will not be issued unless stated otherwise.

2. Warranty Claim Process

We aim to make warranty claims as smooth as possible. Follow these steps to submit a claim:

✔️ Order number or proof of purchase.

Step 2: Provide Proof of Purchase

To verify your claim, you’ll need to submit:
🧾 Original Sales Receipt or Invoice.
📧 Order Confirmation Email (for online purchases).
📸 A clear photo or scanned copy of the proof of purchase.

Step 3: Describe the Issue

📌 Clearly explain the problem with your product.
📸 Attach photos/videos showing the issue (if applicable).
🔹 Example: Instead of saying “My laptop won’t work,” say “The laptop screen displays only a blue screen after turning on, and I cannot access the operating system.”

Step 4: Inspection & Verification

  • Our team will review your claim within 24 hours and may request additional information.
  • If necessary, we may require you to send the product for inspection.
  • Shipping Costs:
    • If the issue is covered under warranty, we cover the return shipping costs.
    • If the issue is not covered, the customer bears all shipping expenses.

Step 5: Resolution

After verification, the following resolutions apply:
🛠️ Repair: If the defect is fixable, we will repair the product.
🔄 Replacement: If repairs are not feasible, we will replace the product with a comparable unit.
💰 No-Fault Repair Discount: If the damage is customer-caused (not covered under warranty), we offer a discounted repair rate instead of full-price repairs.
Rejection: If the issue is not covered, we will explain the reason and offer paid repair options if available.

Processing Time: The full process typically takes 3 to 14 business days, depending on issue complexity, part availability, and shipping times.


3. Warranty Voiding Conditions

Your warranty is voided if:
❌ The product serial number or warranty sticker is tampered with.
❌ The product has physical damage, liquid exposure, or unauthorized repairs.
❌ The device has been repaired by unauthorized technicians.
❌ Any modifications have been made, such as unauthorized hardware upgrades or software flashing.


4. Common Warranty Scenarios

🔹 Scenario 1: My laptop stops charging within 2 months. What do I do?
Covered – If the issue is due to a manufacturer defect.

🔹 Scenario 2: I dropped my laptop, and the screen cracked. Is it covered?
Not Covered – Physical damage voids the warranty. However, you can request a No-Fault Repair Discount.

🔹 Scenario 3: My keyboard stopped working after 10 days. What should I do?
Covered – If within the 2-week warranty for refurbished laptop keyboards.


5. Manufacturer vs. Store Warranty

Some brands (e.g., HP, Dell, Apple) provide direct manufacturer warranties. In such cases:

7. Extended Warranty

Currently, we do not offer extended warranty plans. However, we are constantly evaluating options for the future.
