LaptopGarage Technologies Exchange Policy
At LaptopGarage Technologies, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction by offering an exchange policy that provides a seamless replacement process for eligible products. Below are the terms and conditions governing exchanges:
1. Eligibility for Exchange
A product is eligible for exchange under the following conditions:
- The request for an exchange is made within 5 days of purchase for Ex-UK & refurbished products or within 72 hours for brand-new products.
- The product is in its original condition, including packaging, accessories, and manuals.
- The product is not damaged due to misuse, improper handling, or external factors.
- An exchange is only possible for defective, damaged, or wrongly delivered products.
2. Non-Exchangeable Items
- Products that show signs of wear, tear, or extensive use.
- Items that are missing accessories, warranty stickers, or original packaging.
- Software, digital products, and licenses.
- Custom-configured laptops and special-order items.
3. Exchange Process
- Customers must submit an exchange request by contacting us at exchange@laptopgaragetechnologies.com or calling +254 715034322.
- The request must include proof of purchase, reason for exchange, and product condition.
- Upon approval, customers will be required to return the product for inspection before an exchange is authorized.
4. Exchange for a Different Product
- If a customer wants to exchange a product for a different model, brand, or specification, price differences must be settled accordingly.
- If the desired replacement product is of a higher value, the customer must pay the difference.
- If the replacement is of a lower value, a store credit will be issued instead of a cash refund.
5. Exchanges for Installment Purchases
- Products purchased via installment plans are not eligible for refunds but can be exchanged for a product of equal or higher value.
- The customer must settle any price difference before completing the exchange.
6. Who Covers Exchange Costs?
- If the exchange is due to a defective product, wrong item delivered, or damage during shipment, LaptopGarage Technologies will cover return shipping costs.
- If the exchange is due to the customer’s change of preference, the customer bears the full cost of return shipping.
7. Processing Time for Exchange Requests
- Once a returned product is received and inspected, processing may take 1-5 business days depending on product availability.
- Customers will be notified via email or phone regarding the status of their exchange.
